Central City Hospitality House
Central City Hospitality House has been serving the homeless community in the Tenderloin since 1967. Programming consists of a homeless adult program, a runaway and homeless youth program, a community arts studio, and an economic development enterprise, JobStart. Combined, the programs use a holistic approach to enhancing the economic, mental, physical and social health of the homeless community - through a continuum of services ranging from housing, to high school education, substance abuse counseling, to HIV education and creative expression, to job creation.
