Thank you for coming!
And a big thanks to the people and companies who helped make it happen!
I just want to thank all of you who were at PhilHarmonia and all of you who were there in spirit. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed singing with all of you. Maritime Hall was filled with love and joy. I hope we can make this an annual event, because it sure put me in the holiday spirit.
I want everyone to know that all of the delicious food and drink, the artwork, and almost everything else was donated by people who really gave from the heart. We had very little overhead (except stuff like insurance and security), so almost all the proceeds will go to the beneficiaries.
I am so touched by the willingness of Deadheads to be open to what the band members are doing, even when they aren't sure what it is they are in for. On behalf of the Unbroken Chain Foundation, I thank you all and wish you a joyous New Year filled with singing!
On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Unbroken Chain Foundation and the beneficiaries of this year's grants, we thank the individuals and companies listed below for giving the time, resources and unsurpassed talents to make PhilHarmonia a fun and successful event.
PhilHarmonia is an event which enables us all to be links in the evolving chain of caring people and organizations giving from the heart to help others.

To everyone who has generously contributed and whose names did not arrive by press time - Thank You!
On January 21st about 50 kids and representatives from three San Francisco non-Profit Organizations received the results of our work and the kindness and generosity of all those who donated goods, services and attended our event.
In the gymnasium of the Tenderloin Recreation Center Tim Cain, with Phil's help, got the kids jumping, singing and getting wild. Clare Henjum from the UBC board explained a little of what UBC is all about to the kids; demonstrated with a chain of paper links. She introduced Holger Gantz, the General Manager of the San Francisco Hilton (UBC's partner for PhilHarmonia) and then Phil gave each of the beneficiaries an envelope containing a check for $20,000.
The kids had some cake and juice and raced around letting helium balloons float on up to the ceiling. It was a good scene and the donations mean a great deal to the beneficiaries.
We thought you'd like to know: So thanks again.
And if you see a 15 passenger van full of kids from the Tenderloin Rec Center rolling around, you'll understand why we're telling you this.
