January 26, 2001 Greetings from The Phil Zone, First off, we would like to thank all of the fans that attended the Unbroken Chain Foundation Meet & Greet/Soundcheck party on December 30th and our fabulous New Year's Eve celebration at the Henry J. Kaiser Auditorium in Oakland. It was a pleasure to meet so many of you personally and we plan on doing it again. It was also truly special for us to debut our band to our hometown family on such a momentous occasion in a venue that has so much historical musical importance to us all. The new year promises to be even more productive, as we will be embarking on our Roam the West tour on February 9th & 10th at The Fillmore in Denver, CO, February 12th & 13th at Roseland in Portland, OR, and February 15th-18th at the Maritime Hall in San Francisco. Tickets are still available for the Denver and San Francisco shows. Despite the tremendous success of the Birthday Bash last March, it appears that the Maritime Hall shows will be our last Bay Area shows until the summer. Looking over the hill for the spring, we plan on visiting some new places during April and will be announcing our plans shortly. Phil will be continuing his Blood Drives and we hope to see many of you at Bonfil's Blood Center, 717 Yosemite, Denver, CO on Saturday, February 10th from 12-3pm. Phil will be making other blood center appearances throughout his upcoming spring tour so watch this space for future updates. Finally, you may have noticed that there have been some changes here on Phillesh.net. We plan on updating and revamping our little piece of cyberspace real estate along the way. We hope that you’ve enjoyed the music that we've made available for free download and we urge you to share this music with your friends. We appreciate all of your continued love and support and we hope to see you out there on the concert trail in 2001. Phil Lesh & Friends |
